Industrial Automation

Comprehensive solutions for the automation of manufacturing processes in demanding industries. Our experience enables us to deliver advanced control systems that optimise production and enhance safety.

• delivery, installation, and commissioning of control and measurement equipment (CME),

• design, prefabrication, and installation of power distribution and control cabinets,

• programming of controllers and operator panels,

• process visualization based on SCADA systems,

• all work related to cable laying, making connections, and commissioning the installation.

We carry out projects based on existing designs or on designs developed by our engineers.

Ranging from the automation of small pumping stations, through industrial effluent pre-treatment plants of various sizes, large municipal sewage and service water pumping stations, water treatment works, local authority municipal sewage treatment works, right up to huge sewage treatment works for large urban agglomerations (Gdańsk–Wschód Wastewater Treatment Works, ‘Dębogórze’ Wastewater Treatment Works in Gdynia). We are therefore ready to undertake any task related to industrial automation in this sector without risk or hesitation.

In addition to projects in the water and wastewater sector, we can offer the implementation of automation, control and industrial measurement systems in any other sector.

We have experience in the following sectors: municipal waste treatment (ZUO Szadółki), the pharmaceutical sector (ZF Polfarma in Starogard Gdański), the food industry (dairy plants), district heating (EC Gdańsk – Matarnia) and others.

Building Automation

Smart building infrastructure management systems. We create integrated environments that enhance user comfort and optimise the operation of buildings in line with the technology employed.

We build custom control systems based on networked, programmable controllers, tailored to the specific requirements of each facility.

We implement automation systems for HVAC centres, office and hotel comfort control, as well as heat distribution centres and chiller plant rooms.

Comprehensive timing programmes, the use of local controls and automatic regulation allow parameters to be adapted to current environmental conditions.

Integration with graphic workstations enables the visualisation of the status of individual components, remote control of peripheral devices and reporting (e.g. generating graphs based on archived data).

Power status monitoring systems enable the supervision of network parameters, the switching status of power circuits, and the operational or fault statuses of electrical equipment.

We provide power distribution automation systems that enable the control of switching electrical circuits on and off, load monitoring, and the controlled operation of less critical loads.

We provide monitoring of MV and LV switchgear, automatic transfer switch systems, emergency generators and UPS units.

Lighting control allows you to configure any lighting scenes, adjust the lighting according to the level of natural light, or dim the lights as required.

We install lighting control systems based on distributed controllers fitted in electrical distribution boards. Lighting can be switched on or off directly from a graphical workstation, using motion detectors or via timers.

We implement lighting control systems for office spaces using comfort controllers (analogue outputs) or dedicated DALI controllers.

The integrated control and monitoring system (Building Management System) enables the integration of security, technical and energy systems, as well as the visualisation of the status of individual devices on a graphical computer workstation, control functions and the archiving of events.

The operator interface software provides dynamic access to displayed system data, as well as the ability to manage and modify operational behaviour using hierarchically linked graphics.

Integrated facility management systems ensure continuous monitoring of technical installations and equipment, predefined operational functions, and comfort parameters for the occupants.

System integration enables building management functions to be centralised at one (or several) monitoring stations.

Full visualisation provides an overview of all technical statuses and alarm conditions of equipment, allows parameters to be adjusted to meet current needs, facilitates event history reporting, and enables a rapid response in the event of a failure, disruption or detected threat.

In facilities requiring special security measures, it is possible to set up redundant systems (two servers and graphical workstations) to ensure uninterrupted system operation in the event of a failure of one of the servers. Having multiple graphical workstations allows selected installations to be monitored from several operator stations.

We develop integrated control and monitoring systems (Building Management Systems) covering technical and telecommunications systems.

Low Voltage Installations

We design and implement state-of-the-art security systems and network infrastructure. Our solutions guarantee reliable communication and the highest level of security for both the premises and data.

The installation of extensive fire detection systems based on network control panels and utilising interactive smoke detectors ensures the detection of fire hazards at an early stage and enables rapid fire-fighting action to be taken.

Furthermore, the automatic fire alarm system is designed to control external devices involved in fire protection: smoke extraction control units that activate smoke extraction dampers, the activation of smoke extraction fans, the release of access control systems, the activation of fire lifts, the opening of emergency exit doors, and the activation of the automatic fire suppression control system

Network-based access control systems manage the movement of people within premises and determine access to specific areas.

By granting access rights to individual zones, it is possible to manage traffic and access, and to receive information about alarm conditions in the event of unauthorised entry.

Integration with a computerised graphical workstation enables event logging, reporting, the assignment of user permissions, unrestricted access to the database, as well as remote control and rapid identification of the alarm location.

Addressable, networked intrusion and hold-up alarm systems safeguard people and property by ensuring the early detection of breaches of protected zones.

The system’s addressability allows the alarm to be pinpointed down to the level of a single detector.

The purpose of perimeter security systems is to detect an intruder as early as possible, immediately after a breach of a monitored zone within a secured premises. We implement these systems using active external barriers (infrared or microwave barriers) supplemented by passive PIR detectors, copper sensor cables or fibre-optic cables. To ensure rapid and unambiguous interpretation of a perimeter security breach, we integrate these systems with CCTV systems.

Multi-camera CCTV systems, owing to their ability to provide continuous monitoring of selected areas, provide excellent support for electronic security systems. Image analysis and the verification of predefined alarm conditions offer enormous potential for securing protected areas and premises. Recording footage on digital video recorders makes it very easy to review events and identify individuals within selected time periods.

In integrated systems, the occurrence of alarm events (whether security-related or technical) is supported by camera footage to ensure they are correctly verified.

Structured cabling is a building’s cabling infrastructure that guarantees every user access to any telecommunications service at any time.

Structured cabling enables users to easily rearrange rooms, relocate telecommunications equipment and expand the ICT system without the need for new cabling.
